If a beam of monochromatic light passes through two slits, producing an inference pattern. For distance between adjacent fringes to be doubled, the slit separation must be?

Hello friend ~pretty..., the expression for band width is lambda* D / d
Lambda is the wavelength of monochromatic source. D is the distance of the screen
d is the distance between the coherent slits.
Now as bandwidth is to be doubled, then d has to be reduced to half of its original value.
Hence slit separation is to be reduced to half of its initial value.
