602 * 10^-19 C and r = 4.So required B = 0.Oh you need direction of the magnetic field?Direction of the field is perpendicular to the plane in which the ion is moving and it is upward. As you observe the ion moving clockwise then the field is towards the observer. So 4th option.......
with a speed of 2.81 × 10^4 m/s. The positively charged ion moves in a circular path that
has a radius of 4.84 cm. Find the strength of the uniform magnetic field.
Answer in units of T

Hi friend Criss A, let us use the expression v / r = Bq / m
Hence required B = mv / q r
Plug the given values of m, v, q and r
Here q = 1.602 * 10^-19 C and r = 4.84 * 10^-2 m
So required B = 0.0295 T
Oh you need direction of the magnetic field?
Direction of the field is perpendicular to the plane in which the ion is moving and it is upward.
As you observe the ion moving clockwise then the field is towards the observer. So 4th option.
