( 5 10^-6 Coulomb ) / ( 1.= 3.125 10^13 electrons-well each electron has a charge of -1.if you need a charge change of 5 micro coulombs then take 5 micro-coulombs and divide by the elementary charge.......
A plastic rod has a charge of -2.0 uC. How many electrons must be removed so that the charge on the rod becomes +3.0 uC?

-
by ∆q = ne
=>[3-(-2)] x 10^-6 = n x 1.6 x 10^-19
=>n = 3.13 x 10^13

-
That's a change of 5 micro Coulombs. So the number of electrons is

( 5 10^-6 Coulomb ) / ( 1.6 10^-19 Coulomb/electron )
= 3.125 10^13 electrons

-
well each electron has a charge of -1.602 × 10-19 coulombs

if you need a charge change of 5 micro coulombs then take 5 micro-coulombs and divide by the elementary charge.
