Lets say we were able to build something that could travel at the speed of light. Electrons and atoms CAN'T travel faster than the speed of light...so even if we were able to construct something, it will just break apart because like I said, the atoms and electrons won't be able to keep up with it.

1)If we say that electrons and atoms can NOT travel at the speed of light,then it is correct.Matter can travel at the speed of light but even if we create something from it that runs at the speed of light,then it would immediately be broken to millions of particles that will soon disappear,due to these 3 reasons:
-Every matter has different types of molecules,atoms and electrons which travel at different speeds,and nothing is faster than the speed of light except the machine we built with these atoms.So,the machine would immediately break because the electrons in the atoms can't keep up with the speed.Remember,they can NOT travel in the speed of life,but the machine they create CAN.
-The temperature is getting so high at the speed of light and who knows what can happen then,maybe the machine will explode of the high temperature before the atoms even distruct.
-This has something to do with the 2nd reason,too.There is still a not discovered matter that can hold such a high temperature.The temperature might be even hotter than the Sun(6000 Degrees C)
2)If we say that electrons and atoms CAN travel at the speed of light,then it's NOT correct.Everything should be opposite to the things I said at the last paragraphs except for the fact the machine will be distructed of the high temperature caused by the high speed of the electrons,atoms and the ship(machine) itself.
This is an interesting question with yet an open answer for further generations to discover and find out.It was really fun answering you and that is a really good question.:)
