How much force is needed

F = ( -2, 24/5 , 0) N-Go to http://hyperphysics.info/ and search for radians and force.......
From point (3000,4000,0) to the next destination is the point (-2000, 16000,0) a force of 2N is applied in the direction of pi radians. An appropriate force is applied in the direction of pi/2 radians so that the resultant vector is in the direction if the target point. These forces are maintained until a velocity of 5mps is achieved in a straight line direction towards the target point.

How much force is needed in the direction of pi/2 radians?

-
The total force must be aligned with the line joining the two points.
Obviously, the z-component should be zero.
Next, the force vector must be a multiple of the vector joining the two points.
This vector is (-5000, 12000, 0).
Hence the ratio of x-component to y-component of the force should be -5/12 .
The x_component is given as -2 N. Thus the y-component must be 24/5 N to obtain the ratio -5/12.

F = ( -2, 24/5 , 0) N
