Do you think I saw ghosts? do you believe in them

Most of what we 'see' is synthesized by the brain (to see this in action take a good look at the face of someone you know and you'll realize it doesn't look quite the way you think it does. When your brain doesn't have much to go on it can just make things up, particularly if you're tired as it won't be working at its best. The things you saw were just your brain 'farting'.

There's an experiment that can be done when you put half ping-pong balls over the eyes called the Ganzfeld Procedure (see sources). It's a way to induce hallucinations and is pretty much what happens when you lay in a barely lit room.

Anyone who wants to tell you that you saw ghosts needs to consider whether a ping pong ball cut in half is a magical telescope to some other dimension. Anyone who does isn't worth listening to and anyone who doesn't but still thinks you saw ghosts isn't worth listening to.

The 'trapped' thing you speak of is just something that happens when one part of your brain wakes up but your body is still paralysed (you're body is prevented from moving when you dream so you don't eat your pillow when you dream of eating giant marshmallows or smash your arms up when you dream you're swimming away from a shark).

As an aside, you said your ex had no motive to lie or make things up but consider that people often say things to make other people happy that aren't true.

well i don't know what you saw but the other stuff i could say it was ghosts. i have had one turn down music in our house or skip songs it doesn't like, and my ipod works fine so it definately wasn't that. don't be afroid or anything, for what io know ghosts are nice and wont hurt you.
