I was recently prescribed Amlodipine Besylate 5 mg tablet once a day and my blood pressure went down from too high to about normal but is it normal for me to have to go to a doctor every 3 months? Does this indicate because of my age or health that I am getting sicker or is this a standard practice in the medical field to have patients do 3 month followups with hypertension on medication for the first time or will this be ruteen the rest of my life going to a doctor every 3 months every year from now until my death?
