Well more then likly yes he is getting high off it. I've had my run in with seroquel its used to treat mental illnesses such as bipolar and scstifrena and such. When I first started taking it man I would take one 200mg XR and it would just bam knock me out and oh ya I was I but I did ended up taking large amounts at once and it just went on to snorting it and so on. But more then likly your soon isn't snorting it and so on. Cause a lot of say teenagers arnt taking seroquel faithfuly cuz its really not that great of high and pluse if he's getting it off the sreets its gonna be expensive anywhere from 2 to 5 bucks a pill from wher I'm from. But it is possible that maybe he has found a source to get it regularly from freinds or family I have no idea... but it is also possible that maybe a friend was trying to perpressure him to tak and he's lik ya okay and then ended up stashing it cuz he's just not into stuff like... well anyway idk I hoped this helped you, idk I just know from experens, I'm just a kid as well 16, I'm a lil ways out in that life and idk I just hoped it helped

erm its normally approved for the treatment of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and as an add-on to treat depression. Seroquel is not safe!!! This drug is antipsycotic and is made from people that hear voices and see stuff, in very low doses certain people are given them for sleeping but i mean low doses around 25-50mg's. Seroquel is a prescription to sleeping aid. One of the side affects is an almost hallucenogenic affect to the sense of sight. After which, you will sleep for many hours.

I know it can get you high. Also people can get attached to it. I would try & figure out which of his friends it came from & let his parents know. That is a schizophrenic/biPolar drug. Be careful. Look up on google "effects of abusing Seroquel" by abusing I mean taking without a medical need. Good luck

Instead of asking on here where you get answers from anonymous people and you don't know if they are giving you correct medical advice, I would seek a medical professional and ask for their educated opinion. Only a liscensed doctor or drug treatment specialist can give you truthful advice.

It would probably make him tired and make him act a little loopy. It's used for patients with bipolar disorder and patients with schizophrenia.
