What would happen if you put a syringe without anything in it (air pretty much) straight into the blood stream

Well, someone I know went into hospital for a minor operation, an air bubble got into his bloodstream via the anaesthetic IV, and he was brain damaged. So I think brain damage. But if it was a large bubble, death, although decompression can be attempted to avoid death.

you create an aneurysm and it is a case of when will it kill you.
it could pop in the heart or stop in the brain causing a cerebral aneurysm

the aneurysm that has been created is not a true one, but a man made.
both as deadly

The air bubble will probably kill the person in very short order.

If air gets into your blood, it travels to your heart and you die.
