my mom is taking aricept for her dementia but her insurance plan as now refused to pay any more. the cost will now be $160 a month on top of the $150 co pay on all her other drugs. it doesn't seem to make any difference as she doesn't remember who I am half the time any way

All of those drugs can help, or not. For some they are a godsend, others they're a waste of time & money.
