I work in a hospital in nursing. I am 28 and attractive. This Doctor who is a co-worker of mine has been acting differently lately toward me. I have only worked with him for about 2 months. I keep noticing that he looks at me a lot. Well, when I look his way, he is already looking at me and he quickly looks down or away. When he is talking with other people, he look around the room and always over towards me. When he sits to do his orders over the phone, he keeps looking up at me as i'm working and when i look at him, he looks away. He also talks loudly when he does it, only when im walking by or working near him it seems. When i talk to other people, especially other guys at work, Doctors and or Male Nurses, he looks at me, again when i look back he quickly looks down or away. Once I was in the hall chatting and laughing with the kitchen guy delivering trays for the patients and he got up from his computer and looked to see who I was laughing with, then sat back down. When I laugh with other girls, he looks, he always seems to be listening to my conversations it seems. He sits at his desk stroking his cheek and looks over, then looks quicly down. I was working on a different unit the other day and he came down the hall twice and looked to see who I was talking to, another male nurse. This Doctor has no patients on that floor, so he really had no reason to keep walking down there and looking.. even the make nurse said so.. He never sits with his back towards me it seems.. he always sits facing me, or stands facing me. He will kind of casually scan the room then make eye contact with me, but he always looks away quickly when I look in his eyes.. So what do you think? Does he like me or what? He seems kind of akward and nervous around me too,.. and his voice seems to change into a higher nervous laugh with people when hes around me....

If you're interested in him you could always ask him out but in a professional way. For example "Dr. I'm in need of an after hours drink, would you be interested?" Break the ice at a Bar & Grill or restaurant and he will feel more comfortable around you.
