3 : 2 : 1
there are (3 + 2 + 1) = 6 parts
soil = 3/6
manure = 2/6
leaves = 1/6
if manure is 10L
(2/6)x = 10
x = 10(6/2)
x = 30
there are 30 L total
(3/6)30 = 15 L of soil
15 : 10 : 5
or
10/2 = 5
multiply the whole ratio by 5
3*5 : 2*5 : 1*5
15 : 10 : 5
there are (3 + 2 + 1) = 6 parts
soil = 3/6
manure = 2/6
leaves = 1/6
if manure is 10L
(2/6)x = 10
x = 10(6/2)
x = 30
there are 30 L total
(3/6)30 = 15 L of soil
15 : 10 : 5
or
10/2 = 5
multiply the whole ratio by 5
3*5 : 2*5 : 1*5
15 : 10 : 5

In this problem, x=5. So the leaf would be 5. The manure is double that, so that is 10. The soil would be 3x, so your answer would be 15.

the compost consists of 6 parts. (3+2+1) 2 parts are manure, which means 10 litres equals 2 parts. which must mean 1 part equals 5 litres. I think you can take it from here.
