(3/a)+3 divded by (3/a)-3
you know, its almost easier to solve that way
multiply both parts by a
(3)+3a divided by (3)-3a
3+3a divided by 3-3a
now the 'compound part is gone
(3+3a)/(3-3a)
factor out a 3
(1+a)/(1-a)
and
5/x+6/x^2 divided by 25/x^2-36/x
multiply 5/x by '1'
in the form of x/x
5x/x^2+6/x^2 divided by 25/x^2-36/x
same thing for 36/x
5x/x^2+6/x^2 divided by 25/x^2-36x/x^2
since all the denominators are x^2
they magically disappear
leaving
(5x+6)/(25-36x)
[cannot reduce this like the first one]
