What is the vertical intercept

f(x)=(x-5) / (3x-1)

x intercept = 5
y intercept = 5
vertical asymptote = 1/3
i have no idea what a vertical intercept is...

The vertical intercept occurs when x = 0.

f(0) = (0-5)/(0-1) = 5
