I am terribly stuck, if you can answer this I'll be fine
The question is P + Q = 0
At least I think it says 0, the font is quite weird, I'm given what P and Q are, but a question after that asks P + Q = (I or 1) I can't really tell... HELP! ahaha

O is the zero matrix. Every entry is zero. It is not proper to say a matrix is equal to a scalar, so the technical answer to your question is 'no', but I suspect what you want to know is does it behave in matrix operations like zero does in scalar operations and the easy answer to that question is 'yes'.
I is the identity matrix. It is a square (n x n) matrix where the set of entries along the diagonal is all ones:
{a(11), a(22), a(33), . . . , a(nn)} = {1, 1, 1, . . . , 1}
and all the other entries are zero.
