thats losing $4, like 2*-2 = -4. If I buy one thing and sell one thing, they cancel like (2) + (-2) = 0Good luck!......

If you multiply or divide by a negative and a negative number you will get a positive for example:
-2•-2=4
-4/-2=2
Multiplying or dividing by negative and positive will equal to a negative for example
-6•-6=36
-100/-2=50
when you. Add a negative and a negative you add lie you would reguarly add buy don't forget ABOU THE NEGATIVES FOR EXAMPLE
-7+-10=-17
WHEN U Add positive. And negative you area like subtracting
-7+3=-4
14+-6=8
Remember when adding a positive or negative if a positive number us greater than a negative its. A positive and if the negative is bigger than the positive than its negative
HOPE THIS HELPS AND GOOD LUCK

Adding a negative number is just like subtracting that number. For example: 2 + (-2) = 0
Subtracting a negative number is just like adding a positive number: For example: 2 + (+2) = 4
When you multiply, two negative numbers become positive, one negative is negative, and 3 negatives is negative, because the negatives cancel their effects. For example:
(2)*(-2) = -4
(-2)*(-2) = 4
2*2 = 4
(-2)*(-2)*(-2) = -8
(-2)*(-2)*(2) = 8

To illustrate what negative numbers mean: try thinking of them as buying things. If I buy one thing that costs $2, I lose $2 = -2. If I buy 2 things, that's losing $4, like 2*-2 = -4. If I buy one thing and sell one thing, they cancel like (2) + (-2) = 0
Good luck!
