This is still under the 4th root, so we can take out four 3s.We are left with 3*4throot(72). b/c 2^3 = 8 and 3^2 = 9, so 8*9 = 72.Please take the time to pick a Best Answer.......
18^(3/4)

I don't even know where to begin with this because I was never good with multiplying with fractions.

We can rewrite this fractional exponent as a radical.

The 4 becomes the index and the 3 becomes the power.

So, we have the 4th root of 18^3.

Now we need to simplify it as far as possible.

18 = 2 * *3 * 3

(2*3*3)^3 = 2^3 * 3^6

This is still under the 4th root, so we can "take out" four 3s.

We are left with 3*4throot(72). b/c 2^3 = 8 and 3^2 = 9, so 8*9 = 72.

Please take the time to pick a Best Answer.
