Alright, so I was on a video game forum and this question came up. People are arguing over the answer. Some say it's 2, some say it's 288. I'm wondering what everyone's opinion is?

going strictly by order of operations, it's 288.

but it can be ambiguous.
see implied multiplication.

48/2(9+3)
=48/(18+6)
=48/24
=2

48 ÷ 2(9 + 3)
= 24*12
= 288

ans is 2
