Standard equation of parabola with vertex (h,k) and focal distance p is
(y-k)^2= 4p(x-h)
(y+6)^2=8(x-4)
4p = 8 so p=2
Vertex is (4,-6)
Focus is (6,-6)
Directrix x = 2
