Qu1. 8,900,000,000
solution we want it in form with only 1 number on left hand side of the decimal so this is 8.9 now how many times did u move the decimal point from the far rite to here? Well u mved it 9 times so this is 8.9x10^9
Qu2 know for this one same rule so 0.000631 as one number to left of decimal is 6.31 we observe tht we moved the decimal point 4 time to the rite so tht becomes. 6.31x10-4 notice how it's -4
Qu3 7.2x10-4
Solution well from qu2 I'm sure u can work in out. ( in qu2 we moved the decimal to the rite to get sceintific form so tht means to get to standard for we move left for this qu
I'm sure u can do th rest
As for
multiplying two numbers I'll use qu7 as example
(3x10^2)(2x10^2). This is the rule u multiply the numbers and add the powers so:
mulitplying the numbers : 3x2 = 6
adding the powers : 10^2 x10^2 =10^4
so answer is 6x10^4
