For what value(s) of x is the expression undefined?
2x^2-x-10/6x^3-13x^2-5x

thanks

I imagine you mean

(2x^2-x-10)/(6x^3-13x^2-5x)

This problem will be undefined with the denominator is equal to zero, so lets look at the denominator

6x^3 - 13x^2 - 5x

We can factor this to

x(6x^2 - 13x - 5) = x(3x + 1)(2x - 5)

So now we just need to find out when that is equal to zero
x(3x + 1)(2x - 5) = 0

Since we have three groups multiplying one another when any one of those 3 is equal to 0 the entire thing will be equal to zero, so the values of when the expression is undefined occur to the answers to these three equations

x = 0
3x + 1 = 0
2x - 5 = 0

And that should get you there
