csc^2x* secx = secx+cscx * cotx
i just need help proving they are identities, thanks

secx+cscx * cotx =
1/cosx + 1/sinx * cosx/sinx =
(sin^2 x + cos^2 x) / (cosx *sin^2 x) =
1/cosx * 1/ sin^2 x =
csc^2x* secx
1/cosx + 1/sinx * cosx/sinx =
(sin^2 x + cos^2 x) / (cosx *sin^2 x) =
1/cosx * 1/ sin^2 x =
csc^2x* secx

Hey Daniel, what vaklas is doing, is actually what you need.
You're saying you need to prove how one side equals the other right?
He just proved that the Left Hand Side equals the Right Hand Side, proving that that equation you gave is absolutely correct and therefore an identity
When doing this you want to take one side and convert it and transform it until you can show that it is equal to the other side, then you've proved it
