thus, for probability, P,P = 4/12P = 1/3 chance of scoring less than 50 points3. What type of figure is polygon ABCD if its vertices are as listed below?A(1,......
Only four out of the twelve are less than fifty, thus, for probability, P,
P = 4/12
P = 1/3 chance of scoring less than 50 points

3. What type of figure is polygon ABCD if its vertices are as listed below?
A(1, 1) B(2, 5) C(6,5) D(8, 1)

Draw a diagram using the coordinates.
If you connect the dots, it should look something like a trapezoid, and happens to meet the definition of a trapezoid.
My diagram of the coordinates, denoted by x's:

o x o o o x o o
o o o o o o o o
o o o o o o o o
o o o o o o o o
x o o o o o o x

4. In a rectangular array, 36 seats can be arranged in six rows. Give two other rectangular arrays that are possible for 36 seats.

All this means is that the 36 seats can be arranged in different rows shaped like rectangles.
Imagine the first example, which is 6 rows of 6 seats each. Then just think of other factors of 36.
4 rows of 9 seats,
3 rows of 12 seats, or
2 rows of 18 seats.

5. What number comes next in the pattern?
5 13 29 61 125

Find the difference between each consecutive term:

8 16 32 64

Each number in the sequence is increasing by a factor that doubles each time.
The next in the series of doubles is 128.
125+128 = 253

1. 56 inch
36-(14+14)=8
8/2=4=other side
14x4=56

2. 4/12 or 1/3

3. trapezoid

4. 3 rows of 12
4 rows of 9
2 rows of 18

5. 258

can u give 5 or 10 points for helping you
