2002 ap calc AB form B #2.
i have to find the minimum so i set: 1-3e^(-0.2 square root of t)=0
how do you solve for t? the answer is (5ln3)^2.
please show me step by step on how to solve it. if you need more clarification then you can look up the question itself.

1-3e^(-0.2sqrt(t))=0
3e^(-0.2sqrt(t))=1
e^(-0.2sqrt(t))=1/3
-0.2sqrt(t)=ln(1/3)=ln(1)-ln(3)=-ln(3)
Cancel the negatives, divide
sqrt(t)=ln(3)/0.2=5ln(3)
t=(5ln3)^2
3e^(-0.2sqrt(t))=1
e^(-0.2sqrt(t))=1/3
-0.2sqrt(t)=ln(1/3)=ln(1)-ln(3)=-ln(3)
Cancel the negatives, divide
sqrt(t)=ln(3)/0.2=5ln(3)
t=(5ln3)^2
