I know the answer. Just trying to see how people will do :)

I think that in this division 6 is the dividend and the whole expression 2(2 + 1) is the divisor. Thus
6 ÷ 2(1 + 2) = 6 ÷ 6 = 1. The answer is 1.
If you want to say that 2 is the divisor of the division and that the result is the product of a quotient and a sum, you should write (6 ÷ 2)(1 + 2). Only in that case would the answer be 9.
The rule which states that all operations are performed from left to right has an exception: multiplication must be performed prior to divisiọn. For example when we write 1/ab, that means 1/(ab), not (1/a)b which is equal to b/a
6 ÷ 2(1 + 2) = 6 ÷ 6 = 1. The answer is 1.

It's definitely 9.
By doing this:
6/2(1 + 2)
6/2(3)
6/6 = 1
You are multiplying by the denominator of that fraction, which does not make any sense. Any mathematician knows that you multiply by the numerator. You do the stuff inside of the parentheses, and then you go down the line of the equation. If there were brackets surrounding the 2(1 + 2), THEN it would be 1, but in this case it is not. The answer is definitely 9.

The answer is 9. You have to follow the correct order of operations, or PEMDAS-parentheses, exponents, multiplication/division from left to right, addition/subtraction from left to right
6÷2(1+2)=? parentheses
6÷2(3)=? division
3(3) multiplication

fist we'll do bracket: 1+2=3 and then divsion and miltiplication: 6:2*3=3*3=9
answer is 9
answer is 9

6/2 (1+2)
3(3)
= 9
3(3)
= 9
-
6 / 2(1 + 2) = 6 / 2(3)
6 / 2(1 + 2) = 6 / 6
6 / 2(1 + 2) = 1
6 / 2(1 + 2) = 6 / 6
6 / 2(1 + 2) = 1

9. You do parentheses first n then muliply/divide next so itd be 6 / 2 x 3 = 9
