......
17x^3y^2 - 34x^4y^2

You'd do (17x^3y^2) = 34x^4y^2

Then

17x^3y^2/17x^3y^2 = 1 and 34x^4y^2/17x^3y^2 = 2x

so 1 = 2x = 1/2 = x right?

-
17x^3y^2 - 34x^4y^2=17x³y²(1-2x)
