alot of people say 9 and alot of people say 1 . now im confused. Someone do a brief explanation

The order of operations is PEMDAS: Parentheses, Exponents, Multiplication/Division, Addition/Subtraction.
First start with the operations inside the parentheses by adding 1 and 2 together, which makes the expression 6÷2(3). Now you either divide or multiply depending on which one comes first in the expression from left to right. Division comes first, so you divide 6 by 2, and end up with 3(3), which multiplies to 9 and that is the answer.
You can also type this into a scientific calculator or Google's toolbar, which has the order of operations already built in.

Parentheses, Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition, Subtraction or please excuse my dear aunt sally. Order of operations.
So if you go by this, then you go from your problem to:
6÷2(3)
then multiply
6÷6
then divide
=1
So there you go, your answer!
Pretty sure that's how it goes and such. yup.

okay the answer is 9. Its 1+2=3 because we do the parenthesis first. and 6 divided by 2 is three because of order of operations. then its three times three which is 9
-
6/2=3, 2+1=3 3x3=9
-
do the parenthesis first so
6/2(3) which is the same as 6/2*3
then when its all multiplication or division go from left to right
6/2 is 3 so
3*3
Which is 9
6/2(3) which is the same as 6/2*3
then when its all multiplication or division go from left to right
6/2 is 3 so
3*3
Which is 9
-
(6 ÷ 2) * (1 + 2) = 9
-
It's 10. Combine 1 and the other number 9 and you get 10.
-
First add up what's in the parentheses to get 3, and multiply that by 2 to get 6. Then divide 6 by 6 to get 1.

9
You do it from left to right
