1/2 a = 3/4 b (Algebra homework.)

1) 1/2 a = 3/4 b
2) y= 3( 5-2x)
3) 3a/2 + 2(b+3a)/3 = -1
4) S= 2n - 4
5) 5(3 - 2d) = 6(f + 4)

What is your Algebra hw asking you to do?

Edit: OK, let's do a couple:

1) 1/2 * a = 3/4 * b
a = 3b/4 / 1/2
a = 3/2 * b
b = a/2 / 3/4
b = 2/3 * a

3) 3a/2 + 2(b+3a)/3 = -1
9a + 4b + 12a = -6
21a = -2(b + 3)
a = 2(3 - b) / 21
4b = -3(7a + 2)
b = 3(2 - 7a) / 4

5) 5(3 - 2d) = 6(f + 4)
15 - 10d = 6f + 24
10d = -6f -9
d = -3(2f + 3) / 10
6f = -10d - 9
f = -(10d + 9) / 6

1) a = 6b/4 = 3b/2......b = 4a/6 = 2a/3

2) y/3 = 5 - 2x.....2x = 5 - y/3.....x = 5/2 - y/6
