Trigonometry: Dividing Polynomial Help!

Here's the problem:

x^3 + 2x^2 - 3x - 6
divided by
x - (sqrt)3

How do you do this? Please help :( Thank you :D

Use synthetic division to simplify that expression.

√3 | 1 + 2 . . . .- 3 . . . . . - 6
. . . . + √3. . . 3 + 2√3 .+ 6
. . . 1 [2 + √3] + 2√3 . . . 0

Therefore, we obtain x² + (2 + √3)x + 2√3.
