If the Earth was bigger, and with a different tilt

-Its hard to tell but I would presume that less percentage of the earths surface would recieve sunlight. Therefore, there the north and south pole areas where it is really cold would expand to greater regions. Also since the tilt has decreased, it would be hotter near the equator and colder near the poles. Im just trying to use reason and common knowledge to figure this out so yea.......
If the Earth was 2.5 times bigger, and had only half the tilt that has now, how would this effect the seasons, the night/daytimes within them and the year generally? I'm trying to depict an environment for a novel.

Also, you can't forget that the force of gravity would increase by 2.5 times! This is because the earth would have so much more mass, and more mass means greater gravitational pull.

Athame: I do not know. It could be possible to live on it, we would just be more muscular and stronger to make up for the gravity. I don't know what effect it would have on new borns that barely have any muscle though.

I think birds would have a hard time flying too. The length of a day would probably be longer, but night and day would still last the same amount of time. Basically, it would chang A LOT of things about how the earth is now. This would also change the orbit of the moon and mabye even the speed of earths orbit around the sun. That means years would be shorter

The size difference results in extreme climate conditions and the half tilt would result in polarizing climates around the equator.

Basically, the northern half of the globe would be glaciers and the southern half would resemble the Sahara.

Edit: I made this **** up
