Let's say the sides of the square is 1 cm, then the diameter of the circle would be square root of 2 cms. The area of the square is 1 x 1 = 1 cm squares. The area of the circle is 1 divided by 2 x Pi. So it's 1 over 1 divided by 2 x Pi.
