Thank You!-Lets say the sides of the square is 1 cm, then the diameter of the circle would be square root of 2 cms. The area of the square is 1 x 1 = 1 cm squares. The area of the circle is 1 divided by 2 x Pi. So its 1 over 1 divided by 2 x Pi.......
A square is circumscribed about a circle. What is the ratio of the area of the circle to the are of the square?

please explain

Thank You!
