39150262 or 0.factoring is quite not possible for this equation...hope this helps........
u cannot factor this! what u can do is to find the value of x which is different

Hope this Helps!

-
this equation is quite impossible to solve it...
I used a calculator and the answer is
x = 11.39150262 or 0.708497377

can't help but using other methods like "completing the square" or "quadratic formula"
factoring is quite not possible for this equation...

hope this helps...

This cannot be factored. The only factors of 8 are 1,2,4, and 8, and since none of them add to -12 the problem cannot be factored. You would have to use the quadratic formula or complete the square to solve this problem.

-
Pythagorean theorem -b+/- The square root of b^2 minus 4ac all over 2a.
-(-12) +/- the square root of (12)^2 minus 4(1)(8) all over 2(1)

answer 6+/- 2 times the square root of 7

-
Use quadratic formula
- b +/- Sqrt b^2 - 4ac / 2a
a = 1, b = - 12, c = 8
- - 12 +/- Sqrt 144 - 4 * 1 * 8 / 2
12 +/- Sqrt 144 - 32 / 2
12 +/- Sqrt 112 / 2
12 + 10.583 / 2
22.583 / 2 = 11.2915... Ans
12 - 10.583 / 2
1.417 / 2 = 0.7085.....Ans

-
comparing equation with Ax^2 + Bx + C=0
here, X =[ -b +-sq rt[b*b - 4AC] ] / 2A
you'll get two answer...use them as factor.

-
(12 ± √112) / 2
(12 ± 4√7) / 2
(6 ± 2√7)

(x - (6 + 2√7))(x - (6 - 2√7))

(x - 6 - 2√7)(x - 6 + 2√7)

-
not factor-able
