This has been a quiet day for me and I've enjoyed it.. It's been raining for three days here so I've been puttering around my house getting things ready as the cooler temperatures move in this week. My writing work has been a little slower this week and that's a nice change for me as the last 2 weeks have been very busy. I did go out tonight to my monthly book discussion and I enjoyed that. It was a good day.

In Ontario we have had rain for 3 days that has encompassed the eastern U.S.A and Ontario (Great Lakes) - which a cold front has dispersed - but now the cold front emanating from Canada made it a cold start in the eastern states and towns from Tennessee through to Georgia with Atlanta waking up to 43F @ 6 am. and people in Tennessee waking up to 39F but in the Great Lakes region the moderating effects of the water kept the temperatures over 45F in the morning.
Tonight Great Lake temperatures will fall to 45F overnight due to the clear sky allowing the long wave radiation to escape to space but tomorrow the Gulf of Mexico warmth will cascade up the eastern half of the country pushing back the cold front along with the jet stream and the Great Lakes will expect temperatures into the 70's.
