I want to create a project about countries but I don't know where to start

I want to create a project of my own

I'd start with countries you are familiar with. Examine the topography, natural resources, industrial development and background (were the countries colonised and how this reflected on their present situation?) You might like to explore the ethnicity, religion and origins of the populations in the chosen countries, although that is not strictly geography.

go with africa and probably countries like Zimbabwe- with ancient and heritage sites like Great Zimbabwe ,matopos there are so many.And it has one of the seven natural wonders ie The Victoria Falls and it is rich in wildlife etc it is best.Then cross over to South africa and botswana with the Koisan people great!

start with Europe and how the area was divided into various princely states, then the age of renaissance
and voyages,silk route,discovery of the Americas, trade with India and China.Elaborate on these countries as you go about it..
