Is it hot or cold relative to the body of the same piece of material. why?

temperature can change doe to mechanical work being done work is force times distance
so in compression the material would have to change size slightly
if left in one position the temperature would stabilize to the surrounding Temperatue

GASES compress a great deal so we have the gas law Pressure * Volume =k a constant *T

PV is energy and Temperature is average energy

When you are cold, do you compress your body? (Huddle, clasp hands, etc...)
