Is civil engineering really an academically difficult area of study?

I'm a Civil at the University of Colorado. It is a demanding major, that certainly outpaces the academic envolvement of may other areas of study. There is plenty of math and time consuming labratories, but if you can manage your time resonably well, and dont mind attending class, it is very do-able.
challenging, yes. But also rewarding, that you are working on something that is mentally stimulating.
