I know it stands for 3 moles HCl per liter. You'd convert it to moles then divide by 1000 to get it to mL. I got .109g/mL but my online chem lab quiz isn't accepting it.

1.00 L of 3M HCl contains 3×36.46 = 109 g of HCl total mass is 1109 and assuming no change in volume
= 1109/1000 = 1.109 g cm^3 (so you forgot the H2O!)
= 1109/1000 = 1.109 g cm^3 (so you forgot the H2O!)
