What is the difference between regular physical chemistry and physical chemistry for life sciences? At my school one is needed for the BS and the other is for the BA (the life science one) so is the life science one easier? Also It says you need to have had calculus 2 for both classes(makes no difference there) but i've been enrolled and I've only had calculus 1 (did very well got a 92 on the final) and it's been a while since I've taken calculus so I forgot a lot of stuff. I'm in organic chemistry now. help me please ill be so grateful!!

If you have not had calc 2, you should NOT, let me repeat that NOT take pchem in any form. It is the single most hideous, awful, class that was EVER imagined. It is science for math majors. They should just rename it science for math majors. There is absolutely ZERO benefit from taking this class except lowering your self esteem. It has almost nothing to do with chemistry. I recommend at least calc 3, but preferably differntial equations before embarking upon this hideous course. Good luck with that.
