Hey i need help with this single replacement reaction i have no clue how to do this. i only need 3 can you also include how to?
Zn + H2SO4
Fe + CuSO4 ->
Cl2 + MgI2 ->
Zn + H2SO4
Fe + CuSO4 ->
Cl2 + MgI2 ->
-
You will need to refer to the reactivity series table to decide which element is more reactive. For example, Zn is higher up in series than H. So Zn will replace H in sulphuric acid. Thus,
Zn + H2SO4 --------> ZnSO4 + H2
Likewise,
Fe + CuSO4 ---------> FeSO4 + Cu
Cl2 + MgI2 -----------> MgCl2 + I2
Zn + H2SO4 --------> ZnSO4 + H2
Likewise,
Fe + CuSO4 ---------> FeSO4 + Cu
Cl2 + MgI2 -----------> MgCl2 + I2
-
ZnSO4+H2
Fe2(SO4)3+Cu
MgCl2+I2
Fe2(SO4)3+Cu
MgCl2+I2
