0276 moles x 2 x 30.9738 g/mol = 1.......
Convert 8.57 g of Ca3(PO4)2 into each of the following:

a) number of moles of Ca3(PO4)2

b) number of moles of Ca

c) number of Ca atoms

d) number of molecules of Ca3(PO4)2

e) number of grams of P

*all of the numbers in the formula are supposed to be subscripts, of course*

-
a) (8.57 g) / (310.1782 g/mol) = 0.0276 moles

b) 0.0276 moles x 3 = 0.0828 moles

c) 0.0828 moles x (6.022 x 10^23) = 4.99 x 10^22 atoms

d) 0.0276 moles x (6.022 x 10^23) = 1.662072 x 10^22 molecules

e) 0.0276 moles x 2 x 30.9738 g/mol = 1.71 g P
