Ideal Gas Law Equation...is this correct

[From: ] [author: ] [Date: 11-05-14] [Hit: ]
Thanks!!-V = nRT/p = (1.00 mole)(0.08206 L*atm/K*mole)(298 K)/(1.00 atm) = 24.......
Here is the problem...What is the volume of 1.00 mol of a gas at room conditions ( 25c & 1.00 atm ).
The answer I have is 24.466 ( L??)
Hopefully this is correct - can anyone confirm?

Thanks!!

V = nRT/p = (1.00 mole)(0.08206 L*atm/K*mole)(298 K)/(1.00 atm) = 24.454 L

Your answer seems to be a bit high. Did you calculate the Kelvin temperature correctly? The value I have given is the correct value.

Hope this helps you. JIL HIR
