So, the question I have has two chair conformations of molecules. The first has an equatorial OH and an axial CH3 attached. The second has an equatorial OH and an equatorial CH3. The groups of each molecule are attached at the same spot; they only differ in equatorial/axial.
My question is, are they enatiomers, diasteriomers, identical compounds, or different conformations of the same compound. Is there a way to claim two compounds are enatiomers or diasteriomers by cis/trans alone? Any information on how I might figure this out is greatly appreciated :)

how can there b cis/trans if they are on the same carbon? u need to google all this is simple u can find it without waisting other peoples time

and if you knew ANYTHING about chemistry, you'd know that a chair conformation doesn't have one single carbon. jeez
