In an equilibrium equation what does a weak acid produce?
A weak conjugate base? A strong conjugate base? A strong acid? I'm very confused.

A weak acid produces a weak conjugate base and hydronium ions (almost a strong acid, with a neutral conjugate base, water).
Acetic acid is a weak acid:
HC2H3O2 + H2O <----> C2H3O2- + H3O+
C2H3O2- is acetate anion, the conjugate base of the weak acid HC2H3O2
H3O+ is the hydronium cation, the acid with a neutral conjugate base of H2O.
Hope that helped!
