I get how to figure out if something is soluble, but dont get how to figure out what is more soluble

It turns out that silver chloride has significant covalent bonding characteristics as opposed to NaCl which can be treated as an ionic bond involving complete electron transfer. You can compare Ksp (solubility product) values for various ions to compare solubilities. The easiest thing to do is to just memorize the trends like all nitrates are generally soluble.
