Well, the kidneys are filters for the blood. They remove substances like Urea which is poisonous and is produced as a waste product from converting amino acids into things like carbohydrates and fats which can be stored by the body in the liver. They also control the water and ion content levels. The bladder stores urine, until the muscles are released for you to urinate....
