decomposers
8.How do organisms use nitrogen? (Points : 3)
Plants absorb nitrogen from the air in photosynthesis and add it to the sugars they produce.
Certain bacteria living in the roots of plants convert nitrogen to a form plants can use, and animals obtain their nitrogen by eating those plants.<<<<<<<<<<<<---------------------…

I'm a retired AP bio teacher, so I understand how you feel. Let's see if we can get you some peace here.
1. An ecosystem is a community of diverse organisms living in the same environment; it is a study of how all of the organisms interact with each other and with the environment.
2. This sounds like k strategy, where the organism depends more on its survival qualities than on large numbers of offspring to help the species become stronger and survive by natural selection.
3. This is a biosphere, which is a large area geographically that takes into account the conditions of the area, the organisms that thrive in it, and the interactions of all of the organisms with relation to the surrounding area and its conditions.
4. These are definitely decomposers, which are bacteria and other organisms that break down the tissue of dead organisms for food for themselves, but which also allows the organic matter to return to the environment. Without them, we'd be hip-deep in dead animals and plants.
5. Biodiversity is the the total number of different organisms surviving in a given area.
6. The water cycle refers to evaporation of water molecules from the surface of lakes and oceans into the atmosphere where the water condenses into clouds, forms rain, and returns the water to the ecosystem.
7. Producers are the green plants which perform photosynthesis to make glucose, which is the molecule all living things need to convert to ATP for chemical energy.
8. Nitrogen is absorbed by root systems, and that's how it ends up in the ecosystem, from herbivores eating the plants and by carnivores eating the animals that ate the plants.
You did very well; it sounds to me like you have a good handle on all of this. Good job! Well done!
I believe #1 is the third answer. You might be right on #2. #3 is right. #4 is right as well. #5 is right. #6 sounds about right. #7 is right. And #8 I'm not sure. It has something to do with organisms using it from the atmosphere. Hope I helped somewhat.
