Antibiotics don't cause infections. They do the opposite by killing the bacteria that are causing the infection.

Antibiotics don't trigger infections. Some may be ineffective allowing disease to continue. Others may cause allergic responses. Some pathogens can release toxins from within the bacteria cell as they die causing severe complications. If you have continuing or worsening symptoms, see a doctor.
