Do yearst grow faster on glucose or peptone

Glucose is alright for growing yeast, but you have to remember that peptone is made specifically for growing yeast, other bacterias, and fungi.
They grow faster on peptone, and also any given amount of peptone can feed/support much more bacterias than the equal amount of glucose!
