A recent poll found that a majority of Americans decided Pluto should be a planet. Since a word in English means whatever most people agree that it means, that means Pluto is a planet. The IAU has no real authority in the definition of words other than what credence you give to them. So if you want Pluto to be a planet, everyone call it one and it will be so. Do you agree?
