It is rather difficult to provide a definite answer to this question, since we are not exactly sure.
There are many opinions that linger, and, for the most part, many people believe that the colonization of another planet is purely science fiction. That is understandable, since this seems completely impossible.
We, as humans, are technologically advanced, and we normally love to encounter challenges in our lives. This is true to an extent, since some people throughout the world have questioned the likelihood that humans would settle on another planet. An ideal planet in the solar system is Mars, since there are a handful of similarities between it and Earth. Many projects are underway at the moment, and extensive research is also underway. To land and colonize such a planet would be a great challenge for us, and there are quite a lot of plausible reasons to take into consideration, such as adaptation and growth, for example.
It would be costly for us to establish a mission to send a handful of astronauts to Mars, not to mention risky. It is a great challenge, and it might be possible (in my opinion) that this could be successfully done one day in the future. I suppose only time will really tell.

yes, why not, but the very basic condition for a planet to be suitable to support life is- it should be in the habitat zone of its star ( As earth is in the habitat zone of sun) and there are billions and billions of stars and planets so definitely there is a probability that there will be another planet among them which lies in the habitat zone of its star. and if found mankind could be there but how? its a different question.

There are a couple of ways to answer this question.
1) static answer:
1a.) well we better or this means we didn't survive.
1b.) no, it's impossible and the human race is destined to go extinct and thus all efforts are futile (unfortunately I believe this is correct).
2) non-static answer:
2a.) 1b.) still applies
2b.) of course not because by the time we do we will have evolved into something besides humans. Thus no, humans will never live on another planet but our descendants might.
